Meet Dr. Debby Porter
Discovering Her True Calling
Nearly three decades ago, Dr. Debby Porter was working in what she believed to be her dream career as a flight attendant when her late husband, a chiropractor himself, suggested she attend a chiropractic seminar one weekend. Though she loved traveling the world as a flight attendant, she agreed to go and embarked on a journey that would change her life forever.
After her time at the seminar, Dr. Debby returned home with a newfound passion — chiropractic care. She chose to attend the renowned Life University in Atlanta to pursue her degree, and after six years of working full time and going to school, she achieved her goal. Dr. Debby graduated in September of 1996 and began practicing alongside her husband and mentor just two days later.
Ever since, she has been passionately serving the Marietta community, spreading health, happiness and love to every person she reaches.
A Mission to Serve
As a chiropractor, Dr. Debby’s goal is simple—to make the biggest difference in her patient’s health that she can with the time she’s been given. With an extreme focus and dedication to her profession, Dr. Debby believes that people of all ages (even dogs and cats, too) can be helped through chiropractic care. In fact, she’s seen the power of chiropractic care firsthand when her late husband was diagnosed with cancer in 1984 while he was a chiropractic student.
After choosing to go the natural route for his healing, chiropractic care and other drug-free modalities afforded him and Dr. Debby many more happy, healthy years together.

Success Story
We’ve had the pleasure of witnessing miracles in our practice nearly everyday! One of our favorite memories is all of the families we get to help—one mother in particular began coming to us 20 years ago while she was pregnant. Today, we still care for the entire family—including that unborn child who now brings his two-year-old son for adjustments, too.
Outside of the Practice
When she isn’t changing patient’s lives at Porter Family Chiropractic Center, Dr. Debby enjoys dancing, shopping, trying new restaurants, cooking, traveling, and enjoying all that Marietta has to offer with her husband, Peter. She is thrilled to work every day with Peter, who serves as the Porter Family Chiropractic Center nutritional counselor. Porter Family Chiropractic Center is proud to support Cobb Street Ministries and the Atlanta Dream Center, two organizations that Dr. Debby holds near and dear to her heart.
